COACHELLA DROPS 2016 LINEUP WITH BIG REUNIONS & TONS OF EDM

Coachella unleashed the 2016 lineup last night just in time for the start of advance ticket sales on Thursday 11am PST. The lineup for the 17th edition of the Indio, California festival is stacked with some surprises as two of the three main headliners mark major reunions.

Topping the 2016 Coachella lineup is LCD Soundsystem. The legendary live electronic group is reuniting after five years to perform as the Friday night headliner. Back in October, word of an LCD Soundsystem reunion spread like wildfire but was quickly distinguished and labeled as rumors. On Christmas day, the group dropped a holiday song that marked the first release in five years.

Iconic rock band Guns N’ Roses is the headliner scheduled to perform on Saturday night, making it the first time since 1993 that the band will perform with co-founders Axl Rose and Slash.

Dance music dominates a huge chunk of the lineup with acts Zedd, Disclosure, Zhu, Flume, M83, Black Coffee, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Adam Beyer, RL Grime, Snails, Maceo Plex, Claptone, John Digweed, Sam Feldt, Hudson Mohawke, Louis the Child and Nina Las Vegas, not to mention both Jack Ü and Major Lazer.
