Daft Punk are bookmaker’s favourites to headline Coachella Festival of Music and Arts, following the news that Beyoncé has been forced to cancel her slot at the top of the bill.
Betfair are currently offering odds of 3/1 on Daft Punk headlining Coachella, with Jay Z following at 5/1, Kanye West at 7/1 and Lady Gaga also at 7/1.
Beyoncé postponed her headline slot at Coachella until 2018 after being advised by doctors to “keep a less rigorous schedule”. Queen Bey revealed that she is pregnant earlier this year.
Daft Punk returned to the stage at the Grammy Awards show alongside The Weeknd earlier this month.
The performance kicked the rumour mill around Daft Punk’s live return back into gear, with Skrillex revealing that he’d been trying to convince the pair to performafter playing the opening party of the French duo’s L.A. pop-up shop.
