Daft Punk’s 20-year-old remix of I:Cube’s ‘Disco Cubizm’ to be reissued

Daft Punk’s ‘Disco Cubizm’ remix gets reissued as Versatile celebrates 20 years

Daft Punk’s 1996 remix of I:Cube’s “Disco Cubizm” will get a fresh release on Versatile Records in March.

The record is the first in a series of anniversary offerings from Versatile, the Parisian label we profiled back in May 2014. Daft Punk’s relationship with Versatile stretches back to the early days of the label—in 1997 the duo shared an office in Montmartre with Versatile founder Gilbert Cohen. Daft Punk’s remix has been remastered for 12-inch, which features an unreleased DJ Gregory remix of “Venus Sunshine People” by Cheek on the flipside.

02. Cheek – Venus Sunshine People (DJ Gregory Unreleased Pass)

Versatile Records will release Disco Cubizm / Venus EP on March 18th, 2016.
