DBFC “Autonomic”
DBFC, signed to Different Recordings – the electronic imprint of [PIAS] – late last year unveil the visual accompaniment for their current single ‘Autonomic’.
Directed by Marcos Dos Santos, he describes his interpretation of the track thus; “If man created the machine, he can not do otherwise than his image. This is the utopian reflection of itself facing its own limit. So, obviously and mathematically, the man will surpass the machine until the end of the world, because the creator will always be THE machine, man’s infinite power for man.”
‘Autonomic’ heralds its arrival inhabiting a more dance-orientated world and whilst eschewing elements of their previous single, sees DBFC evolve amidst a flurry of what they have been known to describe as “pyschotronica”.
