Devstar is back on home turf this October as he returns to Make You Move Records with ‘Lost In Space’, a trip into the heavier side of his sound, with remixes coming from Scott Diaz and Mees Mattern. His first appearance on the label since last October’s ‘Rinse Out’ EP, and following this summer’s ‘Love Don’t Need’ EP on Jack Swift’s SPIL Records, the release finds him digging firmly into UKG and bass influences with the pressure turned all the way up.
‘Wormhole’ wastes no time getting there. Skippy drums snap around warped low-end and a snarling LFO on acid bassline, creating a rowdy opener that twists and pulls from the first hit, before keeping things just as lively on ‘The Way’, where sharp drums, wobbling tones and clipped vocal calls collide in another all-action cut. Next, Scott Diaz makes his second MYMR appearance following his 2022 remix of Jack Swift & Damon Trueitt’s ‘Woosah’, loosening ‘Wormhole’ into a slinking swing while weaving in classic garage touches and spacey pads beneath the weight. To close, Dutch producer Mees Mattern steps into the Make You Move fold for the first time, pushing ‘The Way’ upwards with a punchy, groove-heavy remix that keeps its original drive intact while giving it a fresh dose of lift.
Having steered Make You Move Records alongside fellow co-founder Timmy P since its launch in 2020, Devstar’s return to the label brings one of his weightiest releases yet – weaving garage swing, warped bass and rough-edged, raw low-end throughout, with Diaz and Mattern extending that palette in their own distinct directions.
Devstar ‘Lost In Space’ EP drops via Make You Move Records on 16th October 2026.
