Fine Human Records boss Dino Lenny unveils the ‘It’s Saturday Remix’ EP, arriving 16th October 2026. Alongside a new version of 2023’s ‘It’s Saturday’, titled ‘It’s Saturday Again’, fellow Italian artist Sideral reworks Dino ‘Da Cassino’ Lenny’s ‘Skream’, while a brand-new track, ‘Calm Down Cool Down’, completes the release.
First up, Dino Lenny’s ‘It’s Saturday Again’ rolls in on a straight groove, glitchy hats and vocal snippets, with short bursts of acid driving the bass. Originally released on Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio, the new version is rawer and tougher, upping the energy before breaking down into pure, tripped-out territory halfway through. Next, DJ, producer, Afterlife and HABITAT artist Sideral puts his spin on ‘Skream’, transforming the 90s-inspired cut into a jackin’, almost Motor City-inspired groove laced with psychedelic elements, before unleashing a huge hands-in-the-air drop. Finally, ‘Calm Down Cool Down’ brings something entirely new, with racy drums keeping the pace as a wonky, playful vocal rides the groove.
“I wrote ‘It’s Saturday’ in 2014; I always loved it because of the main chorus, but I wanted to give it a little more energy and make it more uplifting, given the kind of events I’m playing these days. Skream is a proper 90s track that you can easily breakdance to if you find breakdancing easy, of course. Remix-wise, I thought about Sideral, who has done a great track called Banda Dobrado, and he gave it a real nice pump. Active for over three decades, Italian/UK DJ, producer, singer, and Fine Human Records label owner Dino Lenny has released on R&S, Diynamic, Innervisions, and Bedrock, and has worked with artists including Underworld, Missy Elliott, Wu-Tang Clan, and Madonna on remixes and collaborations. Since 2021, he has hosted Tomorrowland’s Core radio show, the festival’s alternative electronic stage, which has featured the likes of Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien, DJ Tennis, and more.
