DJ Heartstring teamed up DMA’s and Saidah for a new single ‘A Thousand Lies’Out now via Steel City Dance Discs, ‘A Thousand Lies’ is a peak-time slammer that features spoken word from Saidah and vocals from Tommy O’Dell of Australian rock band DMA’s.
Berlin-based trance revivalists DJ Heartstring commented that the single has been “a long time in the making”, having begun life over a year ago with “completely different vocals”.
“We eventually got the chance to collaborate on this with DMA’S. We’ve always really loved their music, and it’s such an honour to have them on. It’s so sick that we also have Saidah on this, she is such an exciting upcoming artist and her spoken word part adds a real enchanting component to it,” they said.
This new single follows DJ Heartstring’s BAUGRUPPE90 collaboration ‘What Music Felt Like In 2007’ and last year’s four-track EP ‘You Are The Sun, I Am The Sky’. They also made an appearance on KETTAMA’s debut LP with ‘If U Want My Heart’ featuring KLP.
