California’s Doc Martin and Homero Espinosa reunite on Radio Slave’s REK’D for the ‘West Coast Transmissions’ EP, arriving 24th July 2026. Longtime collaborators since well before 2018, the pair have connected on multiple projects via Espinosa’s Moulton Music imprint, with more material in the works. Individually, both artists boast over three decades of experience and respective catalogues spanning labels such as King Street Sounds, Classic Music Company, and Martin’s own Sublevel Music. Together, they now debut on the latest Rekids sublabel with two cuts rooted in West Coast House sound.
Doc Martin & Homero Espinosa’s ‘West Coast Transmissions’ EP opens with ‘Warm Feelings’, featuring swung drums as groovy as they are hypnotising, bubbling synths rising to the surface, and a mysterious vocal that drifts in and out of the mix. ‘Call On Me’ is another heady dancefloor workout driven by shuffling rhythms, playful, crunchy melodies, and more of that signature, vocal-infused loopiness designed to spin heads late at night.
