Los Angeles, CA – Friday, August 8 – Underground force DØMINA, debuts on Insomniac’s Mutate Records with her new single. “Rockin It” is a ruthless hard techno track showcasing her special blend of brutalist hard dance.
Raised in Miami and currently based in Los Angeles, DØMINA is solidifying her status as a dictatrix of hard techno, channeling her background as a classical pianist and composer to create compelling tracks riddled with psy bass, industrial techno, and high-octane hardcore.
The commanding vocal hooks in “Rockin It” are constructed around iconic lyrics and take on various amped-up incarnations. She delivers a series of head-spinning interval shifts powered by sweeping hoover melodies, skittering stabs, distortion-laced pulses, metallic kicks, reverse bass switchups, and fast-moving percussion, creating a track that feels as dynamic as it is meticulously crafted
DØMINA has released collabs with Dead X & Yosuf, LNY TNZ, Samuel Moriero. Her music has received support from Lilly Palmer, Yellow Claw, MADGRRL.
