Los Angeles, CA – Friday, August 8 – Eclectic producer Jai Wolff returns to Lost In Dreams to release his second track with the label. Created in collaboration with SAYAK DAS, “Bad Habit”, arrives as the latest glimpse into Jai’s forthcoming mixtape album.
Raised in New York, Jai Wolf is a Bangladeshi-born producer who originally shook the electronic music scene with his unique mixture of dream pop and indie dance. The new mixtape campaign is a collaboration project that sees Jai Wolf working with South Asian artists globally to create unique club music across multiple genres.
“Bad Habit” is a vocal-driven trap cut fueled by confident rap verses and a gritty topline. Jersey club-inspired rhythms, crowd chants, horn-led breakdowns, and weighty mid-bass drops are layered with creative vocal chops and ear-catching samples, giving the production its distinct character.
It follows lead single “Throw Ya Body,” which has drawn media coverage from major outlets and reached #2 on Beatport’s Trap chart.
Jai Wolf recruits the talents of previous collaborator and LA-based singer-songwriter SAYAK DAS for his edgy lyricism and fusion of hip-hop, rock, R&B, and pop music. They previously released their collaboration “Melancholy Ave. / God Only Knows” featured on Jai’s ‘The Red Eye Home’ LP.
Jai Wolf will soon depart on his Asia Tour, with shows in Singapore, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and more, and is then set to embark on his 8-stop ’10-Year Anniversary’ Tour (with support from Koastle and Conrad.), including shows at The Bellwether, Brooklyn Steel, Ogden Theater, Showbox SoDo, The Masquerade, Concord Music Hall, Regency Ballroom, Beach House Belmont Park.
