Nashville-based producer Effin makes his debut appearance on Bassrush Records with the epic hard-hitting anthem “Take Two,” a hotly anticipated release that has been serving as the finale for his live sets of late.

“Take Two” is a masterfully concocted dubstep heater that fuses the artist’s heavy style with an evocative, vintage twist. Stirring strings and icy piano keys provide a sophisticated yet sinister soundscape that’s amplified by the commanding vocals. The burlesque-inspired vocal is the perfect balance of catchy and sultry, combining with the swinging instrumentation for a magical sense of nostalgia. Rave-ready synth stabs and pulse-racing vocal bends bleed into the devastating dubstep drops. Each subsequent drop is filthier and more impactful than the one prior, mixing in industrial leads, gritty sound design, bubbling flourishes, and overlaying energy of controlled chaos. The addition of the powerful horns furthers the risque edge. Gritty yet elegant, and retro while remaining futuristic, Effin bends opposing forces to his will on his latest bass masterpiece “Take Two.”
Effin provides insight into the creation of the song saying, “‘Take Two’ came together when I was working on a track to close my sets with. The nostalgic vocals and instrumentation combined with crazy high-energy drops ends up turning into a tune that has been crushing at all my shows. Absolutely love how this one came out and I think you can tell how much fun I had making it.”

The talented producer just wrapped up a string of North American tour dates supporting ATLiens, Blanke, Deathpact, and Eliminate. He will also be supporting NGHTMRE at his upcoming show at Marysville Raceway.
