Miami-based Eskuche has broken through with music on the likes of Repopulate Mars, Nervous, and Hot Creations, all climbing high in the Beatport charts and picking up support from the likes of from Maya Jane Coles, Four Tet, Jamie Jones, Sasha, Green Velvet, Marco Carola, Roger Sanchez and Gorgon City amongst many others.
Brandon Lucas is a singer-songwriter, producer and DJ, who grew up in the musical traditions of R&B and Gospel music. Born and raised in Inglewood, CA, his vocal crooning and dance floor grooves combine to formulate a unique musical style, with his music supported by Seth Troxler, &ME, Soul Clap, Will Clarke, and more.
Here, the duo join forces for ‘Impossible’, a stripped-back and whacked-out cut with dry hits and drums. The whispered vocal is sensuous and steamy while the subtle melodies tumble down the scales to trippy effect. Add in a fat bassline and you have a perfectly narcotic sound for heads-down dancing in the dead of night.
