Rohm’s debut album, Éclat de Fête, lands on January 31 via his own label, RITMIN RECORDS. Spanning 20 tracks, the album fuses Tech House’s rhythmic drive with the cinematic depth of Melodic House and Techno, layered with the hypnotic loops of Progressive House. It’s a natural progression from Rohm’s standout singles Horizons, Don’t Go, and Rain of Stars, which saw support from heavyweight DJs like David Guetta, Meduza, and Joris Voorn.
This debut extends beyond the dancefloor energy of his earlier work, offering a deeper, more expansive look at his artistry. Alongside original productions, Éclat de Fête features remixes from collaborators across Melodic House, Tech House, Afro House, and Progressive House, showcasing his knack for weaving emotional undertones into high-impact moments.
Since 2018, Rohm has also been a force behind the Techno Dayz collective, curating events across France that blend dancefloor dynamism with emotional resonance. With Éclat de Fête, he cements his place as a rising talent in the electronic music scene, delivering an album that balances introspection with club-ready precision—a statement of where he is now and a glimpse of what’s to come.
The title of your album, Éclat de Fête, means “burst of celebration.” What’s the story behind this name, and how does it connect to the vibe of the music?
Éclat de Fête is an ode to pure joy, to those suspended moments where you forget everything except the smile you’re sharing with others. It’s inspired by my childhood memories—those moments when everything feels possible, filled with wonder and innocence. The title represents that spark you feel when music carries you away, when the lights dance around you, and you’re completely immersed in the moment. Musically, every track holds this festive and emotional energy, blending escapism with intensity.
With 20 tracks on the album, it feels ambitious. Was it always your plan for it to be this vast, or did it naturally evolve as you worked on it?
At first, I never thought the album would grow to this size. But each track had a story, an emotion I wanted to capture. I let the project evolve naturally, without setting any limits. The more I composed, the more I realized there were still things to say, colors to explore. This album is a journey, a celebration, and I wanted every step to be present.
You blend styles like tech house, melodic house, and progressive house throughout the album. What excites you most about crossing these genre boundaries?
What excites me is the freedom to tell a story without barriers. Tech house, melodic house, progressive—they’re like a palette of colors for me. Playing with these styles is like painting a sonic picture where every element finds its place. I love surprising listeners, taking them into unexpected territories while keeping a coherent emotional and rhythmic flow. It’s this exploration that makes creation feel so alive.
Last year, your tracks were played everywhere, from big clubs in Ibiza to diverse audiences. Has seeing your music reach such a wide audience changed the way you approach production?
Absolutely. Seeing people from so many different cultures and backgrounds react to my music has made me even more driven to create tracks that connect beyond words. It’s taught me the importance of raw energy, that universal groove. I try to keep that connection in mind every step of the way—imagining how a kick, a melody, or a texture might resonate in a packed room. It’s a beautiful responsibility and an endless source of inspiration.

You’ve been running Techno Dayz since 2018. How has being involved in event organizing shaped your perspective as a producer?
Being on both sides—as a producer and an organizer—has given me a complete vision of what music can offer. Organizing events has taught me to understand what the audience is looking for, what creates an unforgettable atmosphere. It’s pushed me to produce with the idea that every track can become a centerpiece of a night. I see music as an experience, not just a product.
You don’t just release tracks; you create experiences, both in the studio and on the dancefloor. How do you balance these two sides of your career?
For me, these two sides are inseparable. In the studio, I close my eyes and imagine the dancefloor—the faces, the movements, the emotions. And on stage, I bring that energy back with me to transform it into new ideas in the studio. One constantly feeds the other. The balance comes from my passion for those magical moments where everything converges.
Collaboration seems to be an important part of this project, with remixes from different artists. What did you learn from working with others on this album?
Collaborating is a lesson in humility and an endless source of learning. Every artist brings their own vision, their own energy, and it pushes you out of your comfort zone. What I loved was the richness these encounters brought to the album. It reminded me that music is, above all, an exchange, a dialogue, and that’s where it gets its true power.
Your music is technically precise, yet it never feels cold—it’s warm and deep. How do you find that balance in your production?
I think that balance comes from how I see music: it must touch the heart above all. The technical side is just a tool, but emotion is the essence. I spend a lot of time refining every detail to serve an intention. The track needs to breathe, to have a soul, to tell a story. If a sound doesn’t give me chills, it has no place in the track.
Launching your own label, RITMIN RECORDS, seems like a bold move. What’s the vision behind this project, and how does this album set the tone for what the label will represent?
RITMIN RECORDS is a platform for artists who want to express sincere, bold, and emotional music. With this album, I wanted to lay the foundation: a sound that combines depth and celebration, a strong identity. The label will be a space to explore, innovate, and above all, share this shared passion for electronic music in all its diversity.
This album feels like a snapshot of where you are right now as an artist. When you think back on your journey since 2018, what has changed the most in your approach to music?
Since 2018, my relationship with music has become even more intimate. I’ve learned to trust myself, to follow my instincts without compromise. My approach is freer, but also more thoughtful: every track is a captured moment, a piece of the puzzle. What has changed the most is my desire to create something lasting, something that resonates beyond the moment, while staying true to what I feel right now.
