Vancouver-based producer Fairlane is teaming up with Peruvian-born singer Britt Lari on “Begin,” an impassioned collaboration arriving on Lost In Dreams Records.

“Begin” is a powerful ballad that blends electropop with melodic bass. Britt Lari’s vocals anchor the effort, painting a striking picture of a tumultuous but irresistible journey of personal growth. Airy chords are reinforced by moving guitar riffs and tension-building drums. Fairlane breaks down the tone he aimed to capture around Britt’s delivery, saying: “I really wanted the song to be ‘fun’ while maintaining a sinister undertone—I was able to achieve this balance by incorporating minor progressions with new experimental production techniques such as using my own vocals to create the lead melody.”

His music has been on a continual ascent, having landed support from Illenium, Gryffin, Vanic, and William Black. Fairlane originally made his debut on the label with his collab “All To You” alongside Crystal Skies and Micah Martin, which was featured on the former’s debut artist album ‘Not Since When’ released last year.
