Los Angeles, CA – Friday, June 19 – French trifecta, Omada is releasing their debut EP ‘Borderlines’ arriving via Insomniac’s Gotta Move label. The three-track EP unites Latin, afro, and deep house influences to create their most ambitious project to date.
Omada is a coalition of three French producers cut from the same cloth. The collective features Maesic, Samson, and Jean-Marc—a trio of rhythmic specialists who have individually been bubbling within the global house circuit via their solo projects.
On the lead track, Omada recruits the vocal prowess of TEAMO, the Latin singer-songwriter and producer making a splash with his signature Latin-Afro blend. “No Puedo” is an affectionate afro house record with a Spanish twist. It combines smooth Latin and English code-switching with tight, subtle percussive patterns, moody chord stacks, and warm sub-bass pulses.
Omada has released previous singles including “Still Summer” with Samson & Jean-Marc, and “Dubai Shit” alongside HUGEL, the latter has amassed more than 9.1M streams, with support from Disco Lines, Louis the Child, HILLS, Plastic Funk, Swanky Tunes, Yves V, Cheat Codes, Hutch. They have received radio play from BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM (BPM, Diplo’s Revolution), Kiss Dance UK, NRJ, OVO Sound
