Los Angeles, CA – Friday, June 19 – Hailing from London, Joss Dean debuts on Insomniac Records with his new single “GANGSTA,” a high energy minimal track demonstrating his natural connection to club floors.
The UK based producer has been picking up unstoppable momentum in the underground club circuit since launching the project in 2024. At only 19, Joss Dean is known for turning heads instantaneously with his punchy minimal tech cuts.
“GANGSTA” features deep, rhythmic beats blended with dark melodies. Its smooth, low-slung groove is accented by hypnotic vocal samples and haunting harmonies. With circular leads and sharp modulations, it creates a dark, driving vibe perfect for both intimate club settings and large festival stages.
Joss first made his mark with the debut single “The People’s Rhythm,” released via neXup recz, the label owned by his older brother Max Dean. Following this success, his second track “Was I Loved?” reached significant milestones, amassing 2.18M streams. The releases drew radio support from BBC Radio 1 and Capital Dance, with both tracks reaching the top 60 of the official UK charts.
This latest release arrives amidst a packed touring summer, including a performance at OFF SONAR Festival and a highly anticipated CIRCOLOCO debut. It follows a headline show alongside his brother Max Dean and cousin Luke Dean at The Warehouse Project, in addition to supporting Jamie Jones’ ‘Paradise’ at the iconic [UNVRS] Ibiza.
