The UK producer debuts on Insomniac’s sub-label with his new two-tracker, a pair of club-focused grooves showcasing his proclivity for combining euphoric minimal and gritty UK garage.
Leeds-based producer GIGSTA makes his debut on Insomniac’s sub-label with the release of his new ‘Midnight Arson’ EP. Landing on December 2nd via IN / ROTATION, the two-track offering is a pair of club-ready cuts culling elements of late-night minimal tech and gritty UK garage.

The title track “Midnight Arson” is a hazy house jam primed for sweaty basement sessions and dusky, underground warehouses. His proclivity for constructing chunky sawtooth basslines is on full display. Croaking low-end oscillators flow with raw power, which are rounded out by the track’s murky synth leads, shimmery hollow bass fills, punchy drum loops, and subtle talkbox vocal stabs peeking through in the right measurements.
On the B-side, “A Deeper Meaning” takes a more euphoric angle, a glimmering minimal track slated to bask in the early morning glow of sunrise. Deep is the prime descriptor that engrosses the track’s moody edge, as it rotates around a warm mixture of dreamy progressive textures and crisp, laser-beam synth patterns. Ethereal vocalizations weave in and out of the frame, creating a dynamic and hypnotic groove that will be a badge of honor for any weekend warrior who toughed their way through to party until dawn.
Speaking to the overarching vibe connecting the pair of tracks, GIGSTA says, “My ‘Midnight Arson’ EP is a blend of my deeper, club-driven basses, alongside a more euphoric end-of-the-night anthem.”
