Giuseppe Ottaviani once again composes the official anthem for the upcoming Dreamstate Europe festival with “To The Stars (A Dreamstate Anthem),” a propulsive tech-infused single that marks his third appearance on Dreamstate Records.

From its opening moments, “To The Stars (A Dreamstate Anthem)” channels the mesmerizing, laser-filled energy of Dreamstate Europe, the annual all-trance gathering hosted in Poland. Ottaviani offers the steady hand of a trance veteran, creating a hypnotic peak-time offering that’s bristling with both darkness and rocket-powered euphoria. “Take me to the stars,” the single’s repeating vocal sample demands of its listener, as it opens to a throbbing kick and pulsing bassline. When the track settles into its acid-laded melodic hook, it sets the cue for an arena of hands to be raised in the air. Though, it’s not long until he flips on the boosters and steers back into the stellar lysergic groove.
Giuseppe Ottaviani says he penned his new single as a testament to the enduring power of trance to take the audience to exhilarating new places. “I’m always looking for new inspirations and new sounds to keep my music as fresh as possible, to bring my audience on a journey to take them to the stars. This is what this track is all about, and it is an absolute pleasure to release it on Dreamstate Records again.”
Italy’s Giuseppe Ottaviani can truly claim to be a stalwart of the trance scene, rising to prominence at the turn of the century as part of Nu NRG, later that decade stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, and has not stopped since. This is evidenced by the fact he’s penned the anthem for Dreamstate Europe no less than two time prior. He first took the honors in 2019 with “Keep Your Dreams Alive,” and then again in the following year with “Morpheus,” amassing more than 1 million streams to date and highlighted by Armin van Buuren in his ‘A State of Trance Year Mix 2020.’ He’s ready to keep the tradition alive in 2023 to mark the festival’s return to Poland on April 15th.
With the return of Dreamstate Europe drawing near, the reception to “To The Stars” from fans has already proved rapturous. He teased the ID on TikTok, allowing the audience to look underneath the hood of its production process, and the video enjoyed a viral moment hitting 1.7M views and counting.
