I. JORDAN makes their Peach Discs debut this July with the ‘Soft Serve Summer’ EP, joined by label co-founder Gramrcy for an immersive late-night remix on the flip.
Chunky opener ‘Your Love’ bursts to life on a rush of bumping drums and teasing vocal snippets loud in the mix. Slick, snaking percussion darts between the kicks as the track locks into an unstoppable, body-moving groove that never lets up. ‘Little Tinker’ reveals a more introspective side, sinking into a deeper, more reflective sound. Rubbery drums swing beneath lush chords and subtle textures, creating space for heads-down moments without losing sight of the dancefloor. True to its name, the title cut ‘Soft Serve Summer’ captures the feeling of sun on skin, pairing 90s garage-house rhythms with diva moans, while delicate organ flourishes lend an extra touch of soul.
On the flip, ‘Come 2 Me’ is a steamy meeting of yearning vocal hooks and uptempo house grooves, striking a sweet spot between intimacy and euphoria. Gramrcy closes out the EP with a hypnotic rework of ‘Little Tinker’, stretching the original’s emotional core across rolling techno drums, dubbed-out atmospherics and intricate syncopations built for the small hours.

The Doncaster-born, London-based DJ, live act and producer has become a defining voice in UK dance music, with remixes for Romy, Confidence Man and Pet Shop Boys, global touring with Fred again.. and Flume, and BBC 6Music’s Album of the Year award for their debut ‘I AM JORDAN’ LP. Alongside an increasingly ambitious live show format, they continue to centre queer empowerment, activism and community through their work.
