Living up to its name, INFEKT and HAMRO’s new collaboration takes listeners into “DA PIT.” XAE’s raps demand attention from the outset, as he gives listeners fair warning of what’s to come. The looped bars are filtered and layered over foreboding melodies and metallic percussion. Allowing the screamed rap vocals to take center stage, the bars help ratchet the intensity to peak levels before unleashing the devastating dubstep drops. Guttural sub-bass leads, sinister vocalizations, slamming drums, and drilling synths collide at neck-breaking pace. The swinging and slamming cacophony is sure to incite mosh pits in every city where the track rings off. Beastly, in your face, and dripping with filth, “DA PIT” is just what you’d expect from this three-headed monster.

INFEKT provides his take on the collaboration, saying, “I’ve been a fan of HAMRO’s music and DJing style for a while, so I’m stoked we were able to bring our styles together for this collaboration. As soon as it was finished, Svdden Death and Marshmello played it on their tour, and people constantly ask us when it’s coming out. I’m happy to say the time is NOW!”

HAMRO echoes his excitement, adding: “The anthem that everyone has been waiting for is finally here. All the moshpits worldwide are about to get even crazier with this track dropping.”

Born in Germany but now based out of Montreal, INFEKT has been slaying the dubstep scene with a sick concoction of dark dubstep and deadly contagious riddim. He’s hot off his ‘Veggie Friends’ Tour, with the final stop at HARD Summer Music Festival, following dates in North America and Australia, and included live support from a wild crew of noise-makers such as Automhate, Chibs, Versa, Mad Dubz, and HAMRO. INFEKT is a favorite in the scene with his music drawing support from Skrillex, Zeds Dead, SIPPY, Fox Stevenson, and more.

Ottawa-based HAMRO is an explosive producer who has been taking over the bass world with mind-bending riddim tracks equipped with filthy sound design. He remixed INFEKT’s “Be Kind” release earlier this year, and has dropped collabs and remixes for Cyclops, BLVNKSPVCE, Benda, Decimate, and BloodThinnerz. His Bassrush debut “Crypt” saw support from industry heavyweights including Black Tiger Sex Machine, ATLiens, Jessica Audiffred, and YOOKiE.

“DA PIT” is a brutish banger that is assured to incite massive mosh pits every time it drops.

INFEKT & HAMRO’s new single “DA PIT” featuring XAE is available on all platforms via Bassrush Records.
