By the time his ‘In Europe EP’ arrives, fast-rising Argentinian DJ/producer Jay de Lys will have spent much of 2026 moving between continents and making some serious noise. A summer packed with Ibiza appearances for FLOW, ANTS, Eastenderz, elrow, PIV and Cecille gave way to a recent North American run through Miami, Toronto and Montreal, alongside his first CRSSD Festival appearance. Now, with shows in Barcelona and Paris preceding a return to Amsterdam for ADE, his Hellbent Records debut lands just as de Lys finds himself back on the continent once again.
On title track ‘In Europe’, tight percussion and whirring sonics create a tunnelling pull, with a familiar vocal touch adding another hook into the mix, while ‘Way Up’ keeps things lively as clipped samples and restless drums gradually build in intensity. Having already become regular fixtures in Cloonee’s sets, both tracks have also already found support from Wade, Ilario Alicante, East End Dubs and SOSA. With another packed European summer behind him and his reach continuing to extend well beyond it, there could hardly be a more appropriately timed moment for an EP called ‘In Europe’ to make its arrival.
Jay de Lys ‘In Europe’ EP drops via Hellbent Records on 23rd October 2026.
