A familiar face within the Hot Creations and Paradise universes, Liverpool DJ/producer Bontan returns to the label with his latest single, ‘Talking Slow’. Arriving as his third outing on the imprint following his standout ‘The First Time’ EP in 2017 and impressive follow-up ‘Gold Teeth’ in 2022, the release builds on a longstanding friendship with label head honcho Jamie Jones, with Bontan remaining a regular across his Paradise events across the globe and making multiple appearances throughout this year’s Ibiza season.
‘Talking Slow’ is a slick, vocal-led cut driven by crisp percussion and a lean, supple groove, with the arrangement pared around a topline that gives the record its character – resulting in a record that has already seen the HC boss return to it repeatedly in his sets all summer long.
Landing at the start of club season, ‘Talking Slow’ arrives during another busy period for Bontan, following sold-out North American tours, including a DoLab debut appearance at Coachella, and releases on No Art and Good Company Records, building on the launch of his own North Drum imprint last year. A multiple Beatport #1 artist with two BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes to his name, ‘Talking Slow’ now brings him back into the Hot Creations fold with a record that feels firmly in step with his current run.
Bontan ‘Talking Slow’ drops via Hot Creations on 23rd October 2026.
