Broadway paid tribute to Prince, who tragically died on Thursday at the age of 57.

Jennifer Hudson, the lead in the current production of The Color Purple, ended the show by sharing a personal Prince story and then sang a powerful, heart-wrenching performance of “Purple Rain” with backing from the cast.
The cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit musical Hamilton finished the performance with a rousing rendition of “Let’s Go Crazy.”
