Comprising six tracks from Kucera & Delayed Sentence, a duo with forty years of experience in Techno between them, the ‘Independent Variables’ EP veers from esoteric trippiness to jagged, funk-laced peak-time cuts, with percussive rollers and distorted, unrelenting drum assaults leading towards the devastating Sims edit of ‘909 Workout Jam 01’ as a closer.
Kucera & Delayed Sentence, one a producer and live performer; the other as a clubber first, then as a DJ and a writer for industry e-zines, have taken their relationship from challenging B2B sessions for Amsterdam’s Most Wanted online radio and extrapolated them to become a studio pairing with two facets: one as BTWN NTWRX (Between Networks) where the focus of creating is capturing the moment and anything goes, Where as Kucera & Delayed Sentence the productions are made with a certain vision in mind and more structured.
