La Fleur – Boiler Room, 5 Years of Power Plant,

Like all the best flowers, La Fleur is coming into full bloom this summer. The Swedish DJ, producer and Watergate resident has been building to bursting point recently with the five year celebration of her label Power Plant, a much talked about set streamed on the MixmagLab and a standout set for Heidi on BBC Radio 1.
Off the back of that, she continues to grow and as such has many great tracks, EPs, DJ sets and media features all lined-up in the coming weeks. Read on for the full lowdown…
News
First up for this talented tech and house producer was a Boiler Room date with none other thanMinusboss Richie Hawtin. It was also the launch of the new Playdifferently mixer. On May 20th, it is to the BBC Radio 1 studios where La Fleur is set to appear on B.Traits’ influential show as one of her hot tips, and then a long haul flight across the pond takes her to a high profile set at the legendaryMovement Festival in Detroit on May 28th.
Releases
With an already assured discography that is as varied as it is vital, La Fleur will be adding plenty more silky sounds to it in the coming months. She will be providing tracks to a Cocoon Compilation in the form of ‘Chemicaliy’, is contributing ‘Vervain’ to an upcoming Madhouse Ibiza Sampler, has a track, ‘Caged’, on the Various Artists Power Plant EP due in June to celebrate 5 years of her label Power Plant. She will return to her regular home Watergate for Watergate Affairs 01 on May 9th and then serves up ‘Seven Suns’ for a Coincidence Compilation in June. As such this busy period is only set to remind us what a singular producer she is.
Gigs
The coming months will be as busy as ever for this increasingly in demand DJ. Her considered sets always serve up plenty of surprises and make perfect sense in the finest club’s and on the best stages around Europe. As such, some up coming highlights include playing Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon,Wooded Festival in Wroclaw, an Off Sonar party for Watergate in Barcelona with AndHimandButch, a second Off Sonar party for the Coincidence Beat Boat and then sets at Melt FestivalandInto The Valley, with many more club dates in between, as outlined below.
