London-based alt-pop artist MADISON unveils her new single ‘Your Girl’, out 14th August, offering a glimpse into Madison’s forthcoming debut EP…
Where her previous releases have leaned into darker, more dramatic territory, ‘Your Girl’ introduces a lighter, more playful side of Madison’s artistry without losing the cinematic intensity that defines her sound. The track is an irresistible slice of alt-pop, pairing widescreen orchestral production with instantly memorable hooks, and channels the exhilaration of meeting someone who makes you feel bolder, freer and completely alive.
Madison co-produced the single with acclaimed Swedish producer Oliver Lundström (James Arthur, Carly Rae Jepsen, Astrid S, TWICE, Dagny), recording final vocals at his Stockholm studio before completing production remotely across two countries. The song was originally written and recorded years earlier as a home studio demo, born from Madison’s own idea of the kind of relationship she hoped to find — not just someone to fall for, but someone who would push her to become the best version of herself. Speaking on the single, Madison shares:
“Your Girl is about the rush of meeting someone who makes you feel empowered to become the best version of yourself, and realising all you want is to be theirs. For me, it was almost like writing about the kind of love I hoped to attract into my life. I wanted to bottle that feeling in a way that felt playful, uplifting and unapologetically pop.”
Originally from Australia and now based in London, Madison has built an international creative network, writing and collaborating with artists and producers across Europe while establishing herself as a vocalist and songwriter for international sync projects, including work for Tencent, World Expo 2025 Osaka and large-scale public productions for the City of Hong Kong.
Her momentum continues to build with over 250,000 Spotify streams across 135 countries and nine Spotify Editorial placements, including Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Pop, Pop n’ Fresh and New Music Friday AU & NZ. She has picked up press coverage from Wonderland Magazine, Notion, EARMILK, FAME Magazine and Flex Music Blog, alongside a Top 20 placement on the BCC Music (USA) radio chart with ‘Nightshade’ and airplay across independent radio in the USA, Europe and Australia. Madison is also a three-time International Songwriting Competition Semi-Finalist and Unsigned Only Semi-Finalist.
‘Your Girl’ will be supported by a coordinated multi-platform campaign across press, radio and social, backed by paid advertising and a cinematic music video or visualiser, as Madison builds towards her debut EP.
