Martin Garrix releases teaser of upcoming MTV documentary
With the release of “Animals,” perhaps the preeminent track that helped usher in the era of big room house, Martin Garrix went from obscure to one of the hottest producers on the planet and has continued his ascent ever since. With his monstrous, eclectic closing set at Ultra, the announcement that he will be headlining the inaugural Ultra Brasil, and teasing a potential collaboration with fellow superstar Kygo, the young Dutch producer has fit in a little over three years’ time what most would hope to achieve in a career.
It’s no surprise then that MTV has tapped Garrix for a documentary capturing his meteoric rise. Entitled “MTV Presents Martin Garrix: The Ride,” the documentary will cover the entirety of his career to date, the wunderkind producer revealed in a brief post on his Facebook. To go along with his message, Garrix uploaded an equally brief teaser for the documentary, highlighting his energetic live shows.
Garrix also reveals that the premiere of his documentary will take place in his hometown of Amsterdam and, while no release date is given, to stay tuned for more information soon.
