UK trance music duo makes their long-awaited debut on the Dreamstate label with their new single, a fan-favorite ID from their debut performance at last year’s Dreamstate SoCal festival.
Recognized as being a guiding force for the future generation of trance music, UK duo Metta & Glyde make their long-awaited debut on Dreamstate Records. Slated for release on December 12th, “Focus” is a driving tech single that has served as a statement piece in their sets since they debuted it at last year’s Dreamstate SoCal.

Marking an evolutionary leap for the seasoned duo, “Focus” sees them shifting their attention towards a more club-oriented tech direction. The track juxtaposes Metta & Glyde’s signature uplifting euphoria with a dystopian edge. Sage wisdom is imparted through cyborg-like vocals, as pummeling rhythms run beneath the mix like a well-oiled machine. Tension is the operative term here, which coils continually via climbing arpeggios, soaring synths, bleeping tones, and resonating foghorn fills. It’s futurism at its finest, a track that opens up a new universe for the two torchbearers.
The track became a crowd-favorite the moment that Metta & Glyde premiered it during their Dreamstate SoCal set in 2024. It has remained in rotation by them ever since, receiving a consistent uproar during festival appearances at Luminosity and Unkoncious, as well as their support set for Bryan Kearney at the Dreamstate San Francisco party at Public Works.
