Los Angeles, CA – Friday, October 2 – Hard music record label, MUTATE Records launches the first iteration of its newly conceived ‘EVOLUTION’ compilation EP series, highlighting artists and sounds that act as catalysts for the new-age rave generation.
‘EVOLUTION: Volume I’ includes exclusive tracks from Dea Magna & culineR, CLAWZ, and DR. GRECO, marking the start of a new chapter for the imprint. MADGRRL and ANAVAX join forces on the lead track “IDGAF,” a hard techno collaboration driven by a give-no-Fs mentality.
Los Angeles bred, MADGRRL has spun off her trailblazing roots blending hard dance and bass music to push floors to the edge of insanity through unremitting, industrial-laced techno.
Melbourne’s ANAVAX has exploded out of Australia’s thriving hard dance scene, shredding floors with his raw, industrial-powered techno.
“IDGAF” combines striking synth accents and fast-paced kicks with unruffled vocal cuts, as vocal chops and hooks complement the energy of the track. The elements work together to create a smooth, understated sense of momentum.
LA-based DJ and Producer Dea Magna is a lifelong devotee of rave culture. Her sound fuses raw energy and hypnotic grooves, creating her cutting-edge, modern identity in the hard dance scene.
In collaboration with culineR, Dea Magna releases an energetic dance cut built around punchy percussion and rapid-fire kicks. A springy synth keeps the groove moving as the track builds toward an aggressive offbeat bassline, bringing a sharper finish to the track.
CLAWZ is a rising force in global hard techno and rave. From raving across Europe to the Los Angeles underground scene, she found herself creating a unique sound fusing hard techno with acid, industrial, hard dance, and more.
“Gimme That Bassline” is CLAWZ’s own hard techno edge to the first edition of the project, driven by a heavy kick and aggressive bassline that set the tone from the start. Metallic synth stabs build on the groove as the track shifts through rapid changes, keeping the energy moving throughout.
DR. GRECO is a DJ and producer who continues to push the boundaries of dance music while preserving the roots of the underground sound.
In “SUNDRESS,” DR. GRECO adds a mixture of techno and house to conclude the EP. With bouncy synths,catchy vocals, and a driving bassline, the cut brings back a summer energy that invites you to the dance floor.
MADGRRL has cultivated her own movement via her expertly curated MADWRRLD event series, in addition to releasing world class collabs alongside Gravedgr, LNY TNZ, Yellow Claw, Krewella. This year, she hosted her ‘MAD ALL NIGHT’ Tour, an open-to-close 360° set show including stops at Echoplex, Effex Night Club, Club EGO, The Rink Studios, Strand, Maeve.
She has upcoming festival performances at Lights All Night, Teletech and a MADWRRLD showcase in her hometown Philadelphia. ANAVAX has released music with Lister, CRMN (UK), Ramon, with high-profile shows at Hypersonic Festival, Levels Melbourne, Black Noir.
Dea Magna continues to leave her mark on the global music landscape with releases on acclaimed labels like Fifth on Acid, Revealed Recordings, and Virgin Records. Her collaboration with Italian maestro T78, “Rave Nostalgia” secured the No. 2 spot on the Beatport Charts and landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday Dance. Her music has received support from Insomniac Radio and VCCO.
She has performed in high profile shows including Wasteland 2026, EDC 2025, Teletech x Fresh Start 2027, Exchange LA, and Mixmag LA, and continues to carve her place in the international techno scene.
As a producer, CLAWZ released on Group Chat, Audiorotica, Nacht Seiger and SXTCY Records, receiving support from TRYM, NIco Moreno, and KARAH. Her rapid ascent has taken her touring in North America, Colombia and all throughout Europe on iconic stages like EDC Las Vegas, Verknipit Festival, EDSea, Wasteland, Beyond Wonderland, and Escape Psycho Circus.
DR. GRECO’s debut release “Be” on his label, Rawsome Recordings gained significant support from industry heavyweights including Calvin Harris, Patrick Topping, Mau P, TRYM, James Hype, Loco Dice, Patrick Mason, Nora En Oure, and many more. He has performed at major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, We Belong Here, and Elements Music Festival.
