Nejvex Blends Phonk and Dubstep on Blistering Bass Single “Undertaker” on Gud Vibrations

Los Angeles transplant by way of Czechia, Nejvex, makes a bold debut on NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations label with his latest single, “UNDERTAKER.” Known for his exploration of heavy dubstep and color bass, Nejvex dives deeper into his signature sound, merging melodic elements from drift phonk with raw hip-hop vocals, crafting an audacious fusion that stands out in today’s bass music landscape.

“UNDERTAKER” is a hard-hitting dubstep cut that weaves together fast-paced laser synths, frenetic metallic clanks, hardwave-tinged melodies, and a growling low-end, all delivered with chaotic percussion at breakneck speed. It’s a seamless blend of aggression and melody, showcasing Nejvex’s ability to infuse genre influences without compromising his distinct bass-heavy edge. As the lead single from his forthcoming EP slated for release in November, “UNDERTAKER” sets the tone for what promises to be a genre-defying project.

“‘UNDERTAKER’ is my debut on Gud Vibrations,” says Nejvex. “Striking a unique blend of phonk and heavy dubstep while maintaining my signature sound.”

This release follows Nejvex’s recent appearance on SLANDER’s Heaven Sent label, which arrived in the form of his two-track offering ‘Hyperion / I Want Your Love,’ a release that highlighted his range from soaring melodies to ground-shaking bass drops. Selected by SLANDER as the winner of their prestigious ICON Collective scholarship, Nejvex made the move to the U.S. and quickly caught the attention of heavyweights in the scene.

With live support from artists like Virtual Riot, Au5, and Skybreak, Nejvex’s tracks have reverberated across major festival stages, including EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, Lost Lands, and Ultra Music Festival. Adding to his repertoire, Nejvex contributed a remix to SLANDER’s ‘Thrive’ remix album, reimagining “Watch Over Me” featuring JT Roach.

Recently supported with editorial placements on Apple Music and radio spins from Monstercat, Gud Vibrations, Chime, and Ace Aura, Nejvex’s ascent in the bass music scene has been rapid. As he continues to blend genres with a fearless, forward-thinking approach, Nejvex cements himself as a dynamic force on the Gud Vibrations roster.
