Los Angeles, CA – Friday, August 28 – Los Angeles-native house music powerhouse OMNOM joins forces with Vancouver-based rapper, multimedia artist, and model Tommy Genesis for their new single, “Pressure” on Insomniac Records. Bringing together OMNOM’s innovative approach to club music and Genesis’ provocative vocal style, the collaboration delivers a dark, tension-filled tech house track built for late-night dancefloors.
“Pressure” is a vocal-led house track designed to push the barometer past its safety rating, with Genesis delivering her trademark pillowtalk vocals across the hooks. Her soft, sensual tones heighten the track’s intimate atmosphere, while OMNOM’s dark tech house groove reaches its boiling point through growling low-end surges, sharp drum shuffles, whistling Shepard tones, laser modulations, warping synth rattles, and eerie melodic textures. The result is a sultry, high-pressure club record that steadily builds tension from start to finish.
“Pressure” follows OMNOM’s recent “Take You There”, released as part of his collaborative HYPERBEAM project alongside Odd Mob on Insomniac Records. He has steadily built one of the most distinctive catalogs in modern house music, including a number-one Beatport record in 2023 for “Losing Control” with Odd Mob, numerous top-five placements, and a feature on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Tommy Genesis has spent her career challenging conventions through her boundary-pushing approach to music, fashion, and multimedia art.
