A huge new debut lands on Drumcode this week, as superstars Volkoder and Korolova join forces for new single ‘Waiting For You’, marking both artists’ debut on the label and their first ever collaboration.
‘Waiting For You’ combines a driving groove with a melodic edge, centred around a recurring vocal hook and infectious synth riff. The track has already featured in sets at UNVRS, Tomorrowland and EDC Vegas ahead of its official release.
“The idea was to blend the energy and groove that define my sound with the melodic and emotional atmosphere she brings to her productions,” says Volkoder. “The result is a track that works both during peak-time moments and in the more emotional parts of a set.”
Korolova adds:
For me, ‘Waiting For You’ is all about emotion and energy existing in the same space. Working with Volkoder allowed us to combine powerful rhythms with a deeper melodic feeling.
