One Family’s Dubstep-Driven Holiday Light Show For a Good Cause

The Johnson Family dubstep Christmas light show featured on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight.”

There’s always that one neighbor whose holiday decoration game is particularly strong.

Since 2013 and following a stint on ABC,The Johnson Family of San Antonio, Texas has established their annual light show as a gamechanger when it comes to vibrant bulbs and caroling bells.

This year, the epic light display is a whopping 11-minutes long — and the timing hardly makes it a drag to behold.

From classic carols to Frozen’s “Let It Go” calling card to Skrillex’s “Bangarang,” this year’s show has something for all ages to enjoy. In addition, the Johnson family is taking the attention their yearly spectacular brings in a step further. Viewers are encouraged to submit pledges to Living Water International, a nonprofit that strives to reduce infant mortality by providing clean water.

Viewers can submit pledges to the cause via text message while they watch the show — and see real-time updates for each night’s pledges. Check out The Johnson family’s 2015 display below.
