Academy Award-winning actress.Professional hugger. Recording artist. (Guys, remember Finally Out Of P.E.? We do.) Beat-dropping DJ (sort of). Brie Larson does it all.

In December, the compelling Room star got a little light-hearted, rattling off DJ tips from the trenches. Bringing way more records than necessary and dropping “instant R&B jams” that make party goers’ ears “perk up” come highly recommended.

Larson was also vulnerable enough to reveal a faux pas she once committed. “Don’t play a ton of ’60s Beatles covers in German at a Coachella party,” she said. “Cause people don’t like that.”
