Poland’s rising house scene takes centre stage on Adesso Music this July as Paul Sun and Louis (PL) come together for their first collaborative EP, ‘Shake’. Backed by support from Roger Sanchez, Chris Lake, and Robert Owens, and with releases landing via Nothing But, WyldCard, and Flashmob, the pair deliver three percussion-rich cuts tailored for peak-time pandemonium.
Title cut ‘Shake’ sets the tone with driving drums, tribal-leaning grooves, chopped vocal hooks, and dubbed-out textures woven throughout. ‘Work’ follows suit, bringing together rich organic percussion, crisp claps, and warped vocal processing for a hypnotic, late-night affair. Closing the EP, ‘All U Need’ shifts gears slightly, introducing falling synth motifs and warm melodic flourishes while retaining the project’s signature low-end groove and percussive weight – rounding out superb release primed for the heads down, hands up moments.
