“Step Up” is a beastly bass creation destined to elevate the energy from the dancefloor to the highest rung. The cinematic introduction packs a futuristic feel, one that’s ripe with uncertainty. Chopped rap vocals and blistering builds give way to the devastating dubstep-driven first half. Drilling synths, laser sfx, crunchy low-end, and punchy percussion collide into a skull-shattering riddim onslaught. The additional screamed vocal layers add a raw metal edge while providing a boost of adrenaline.
