Montreal native borne has been expanding his ever-impressive discography with an innovative approach to bass music that blurs the boundaries between UK garage, bassline, and deep dubstep. Arriving on NIGHTMODE comes his latest single “Give It To Me.” The track follows his recent collab “Hush” alongside Alexis B, and his breakout EP ‘Deep End,’ which arrived on the label at the tail-end of last year. The release is another standout statement serving as the next game-changer from the label’s 14th season of releases.

“Give It To Me” is a deep and dark dose of dubstep, carried out with a sleek, sexy edge. The sultry female vocal hook begs and pleads playfully, as its beguiling nature injects a heart-racing and rousing allure. Swaying soundscapes drift over slick breakbeat drums while tambourine accents provide a lively undercurrent. Carefully spliced hype-inducing vocal chops are sprinkled in to up the intensity with surgeon-like precision. The drops are room-filling, combining reverberating basslines and rotating synth riffs, which emulate the sound of whooshing blades of a chopper. Mixing brutish bass with dancefloor-igniting rhythms, “Give It To Me” once again illustrates why borne is one the scene’s brightest rising stars. The release has already been making the rounds, inciting a firestorm of hype caused by early live support from tastemakers such as PEEKABOO, Hamdi, Ternion Sound, and Eliminate. With another certified weapon in the chamber, borne gives the masses everything they could have ever wanted, and so much more.
“I’m eager to release this track because of its deep and dark vibe, with the help of its captivating vocals it urges the listener to want more hence the title ‘Give It To Me.’”—borne
