Montreal native borne has been expanding his ever-impressive discography with an innovative approach to bass music that blurs the boundaries between UK garage, bassline, and deep dubstep. “Give It To Me” is a deep and dark dose of dubstep, carried out with a sleek, sexy edge. The sultry female vocal hook begs and pleads playfully, as its beguiling nature injects a heart-racing and rousing allure. Swaying soundscapes drift over slick breakbeat drums while tambourine accents provide a lively undercurrent. Carefully spliced hype-inducing vocal chops are sprinkled in to up the intensity with surgeon-like precision. The drops are room-filling, combining reverberating basslines and rotating synth riffs, which emulate the sound of whooshing blades of a chopper.
