Two of progressive house’s most hotly tipped proponents, Richie Blacker and Lloyd Barwood, return to Sasha’s Last Night on Earth on November 13th with their first-ever collaboration, the ‘Generator’ EP.
Already regulars on Sasha’s LNOE imprint, Blacker and Barwood are pushing a new era of progressive house, winning plaudits from newcomers to the sound through to the scene’s pioneers such as Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo and more, Blacker’s blend of acid house, italo house, and rave influences has made waves for over 15 years, while Barwood, first emerging in 2022, has cemented himself as a unique voice in progressive house, drawing on past and present house music to create dynamic, emotive tracks.
The ‘Generator’ EP began when Richie shared several finished ideas, which Lloyd then reworked with his unmistakable touch. The result is a powerful meeting of both artists’ styles, combining Richie’s signature chords and garage-inflected vocals with Lloyd’s uplifting melodies and UK-inspired beats. Together, the two tracks deliver a bold, high-energy release built for the dancefloor.
‘Generator’ will be released on Last Night On Earth on November 13th, 2026.
