“Try Again” is a genre-bending anthem that blurs the lines between trap, dubstep, and beyond. Built around a classic rap vocal, the track balances a sense of gritty nostalgia with an electrifying, modern electronic core. Firing laser synths, stray shell casings, and fierce low-end punches lay the foundation. A stripped-down section with an emotive synth lead brings the energy down before adding in alarming melodies with pitched and looped vocals, priming listeners for the auditory explosion that follows. Squishy sub-bass slams, suspenseful choir harmonies, pounding percussive clanks, and regal horn leads are intertwined in the first drop for an energetic onslaught.
