SFX Puts Flavorus on the Auction Block
Bad news everyone… SFX Entertainment just can’t seem to catch a break this year. If declaring bankruptcy, cancelling multiple music festivals, having its own CEO step down, and even being court ordered to pay Artists upfront weren’t enough for you, it seems as though SFX is going to be auctioning off yet another one of their many assets (in addition to Beatport and Fame House), the ticketing service company Flavorus.
SFX acquired Flavorus back in 2014 when it was the biggest ticketing service for the EDM scene, having exclusive rights to big name festivals and Dance Music shows such as Electric Daisy Carnival and Hard Summer Music Festival.
Opening bids for Flavorus will commence on May 19th, the actual auction will take place on May 23rd, and the sale hearing will finalize on the 26th. Check out the legal documents below for more legal oriented details.
