With a career stretching back to the early 2000s, Reboot has spent more than two decades developing a sound that sits between minimal, house and techno. Known for productions where rhythm and texture carry as much weight as melody, the German producer has built a catalogue across the underground while taking his distinctive approach to clubs around the world. Now he brings that extensive experience to Solid Grooves Raw for his first release on the imprint.
‘Haha’ gets straight to work with a heavy, rolling rhythm, as sharp percussion and a thick low-end lock together around a tightly wound groove. Rather than relying on dramatic shifts, the track plays with small changes in rhythm and emphasis, letting the groove simmer before tumbling away only to build again – a precise club cut from an artist whose understanding of minimalism has always been rooted in what happens when the details do the work.
