South London Producer Ben Hobbs Drops Moody New Single ‘Cold Sweat
Meet South London producer/multi-instrumentalist Ben Hobbs.
After dropping the one-two punch of his glorious debut single “Sweet Enough” and the reverb-drenched follow-up “Wishful Thinking,” Hobbs returns today with his latest offering, the synth-heavy standout “Cold Sweat,” premiering exclusively via Billboard.
The moody track pulls from the best of ’80s pop with sonic nods to the likes of Tears For Fears and Kate Bush, whose classic “Running Up That Hill” would slide perfectly into a mash-up.
Look for Hobbs’ forthcoming debut EP, Sweet Enough, out May 6.
