LA-based producer and singer-songwriter Stella Vista is an artist personifying the carefree spirit, and she funnels her natural poise and grace straight down the gullet of her follow-up single on STNS label. As suggested by its title, “C’est la Vie” is a synthpop song that stays as cool as a cucumber garnishing frozen margarita, slated for release on January 30th.

Arriving hot on the hind legs of her recent label debut, “C’est la Vie” is a synthpop song written in a world in which every waking moment is an out-of-office dream. Stella Vista is shown soaking up the shine, as her smooth croons and infectious la-la-las exude a charming nonchalance. Meanwhile, the song’s ostinato piano chords simmer and saunter atop a warm, tropical beat. The release precedes her forthcoming three-track ‘Cooked’ EP, which is expected to drop right around the corner.
Speaking to the meaning behind her new single, Stella Vista shares, “‘C’est La Vie’ is a song about euphoria, idealization, and turning your dream life into a reality. It’s an escapism song written for the dreamers, like me, who want to live every day like it’s a vacation.”
