“Supernova” captures the rollercoaster of emotions that come with new love, tracing the uncertainty and elation that accompany it. Wistful chords, twinkling keys, and cosmic pads create a reflective air that is bubbling with a hint of enchantment. Cherry’s velvety falsetto and smooth vocal croons capture the push-and-pull dynamic, establishing a sultry, heart-racing allure. The anticipation reaches an explosive apex as a torrent of pulsating synth leads and plucky hits meet their match via the track’s snappy drums. The release soundtracks the overwhelming embrace of a love that can’t be ignored. A dreamy progressive house apex acts as the climax, with a dance-inducing eruption of pure passion.

Synymata opens up about the inspiration behind the release, saying,“‘Supernova’ is about the intensity of love when it feels like both a battle and a burst of light. Cherry and I wrote it to capture that chaotic, beautiful moment when emotions are overwhelming, but you still choose to dive in. It’s a plea for connection before everything explodes or fades away.”

Sharing his perspective on the song, Cherry says, “‘Supernova,’ to me, is about the fallout of wanting someone too much when love turns into a power struggle and no one wants to blink first.”
