Milwaukee-born, Idaho Falls-based producer Synymata is a mainstay in the electronic music scene, known for his signature style that fuses elements of trap, future bass, dubstep, and melodic bass. Cherry is an LA transplant by way of Pittsburgh, making his mark as a singer/songwriter, producer, and engineer. “Supernova” captures the rollercoaster of emotions that come with new love, tracing the uncertainty and elation that accompany it. Wistful chords, twinkling keys, and cosmic pads create a reflective air that is bubbling with a hint of enchantment. Synymata opens up about the inspiration behind the release, saying,“‘Supernova’ is about the intensity of love when it feels like both a battle and a burst of light.
