“Better This Way” is a heartfelt ballad of love, uncertainty, and introspection. The reflective topline explores the apprehension of allowing oneself to fall for someone new while considering to tear down the guard rails. The lush vocal is captivating and moving, depicting a hypothetical conversation of what could be.  Faint guitar strums, sweeping strings, and drifting pads set the vibe and deepen the emotional appeal. Undulating synths and building drums give way to a vibrant melodic bass explosion that fuses rolling melodies, haunting vocal bends, a catchy hook, and smooth low-end. The production ebbs and flows effortlessly, pulling back to intensify the feels then erupting even further into a vivid wave of emotion. Exploring the what-ifs opens the door for the prospect of a bright future on “Better This Way.”

Taylor Kade reflects on how the track came together, saying, “Creating ‘Better This Way’ has been a journey for almost three years. This song captures the essence of love, fear, and self-discovery. It also is a reminder that, sometimes, good things take time. We’re incredibly proud of the energy and dedication poured into every part of this song, and we hope listeners enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it!”
