Originally planned to take place April 14th,2016 and air as an hour-long special with FOX on April 23rd, theElectronic Music Awards & Foundation show has been postponed until Fall.

“As this is the first year of the awards, we have the luxury of flexibility, which we are taking advantage of to decide the optimal timetable to present the awards. With this opportunity, we felt that it would better to represent the electronic music calendar in the fall rather than the spring.”

The awards show will be the first of its kind, dedicated to celebrating electronic dance music on primetime, featuring all the standard red carpet coverage, awards presentations, interviews, and live performances that we’ve come to expect from televised ceremonies.

Under the direction by Russell Thomas (MTV EMA awards director from 2011-15), and co-founders Paul Oakenfoldand LA-based TV4 Entertainment, there really is massive potential for this event. We’ll update as more details become available.
