THE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC SUMMIT HEADS TO MALTA
International Music Summit brings together key industry figures and iconic producers to inspire a future generation
From Discwoman, a fresh New York based and The Black Madonna-endorsed platform for females in electronic music, to LEME and their strong production and industry workshops, we are steadily seeing more and more initiatives to involve and educate people on producing and learning about electronic music.
Co-founded by Pete Tong, The International Music Summit is a “crash course in electronic music,” that aims to inspire, motivate and educate bright young minds, with events bringing together industry leaders and music icons over the course of three days.
Previously holding conferences in Los Angeles, Ibiza and Shanghai, this summer sees IMS heading to Westin Dragonara, Malta for a jam packed program of insight, production and education. Partnering with both Point Blank Music School and Berlin’s SAE Institute, they will host production masterclasses, panels with key artists in the industry and lectures from audio technology and music experts.
Aside from the education, of course IMS have curated parties across the three days including an opening event with Solomun and Pete Tong and two more fiestas with Nic Fanciulli, Carl Bee and Sandy River and Ziggy.
With the mantra “learn by day, party by night”, this comprehensive initiative promises to match business and pleasure in a beautiful setting.
The International Music Summit is on 1-3 July – if you are interested in heading along find out more on the website.
