Following a year of championing promising, up-and-coming talent via his Agrio Tracks label, Amsterdam’s Tjade finally takes his place in the catalogue with the high-energy ‘Luv U / Hipon Shaker’. The two-tracker sees the label boss deliver for the peak-time, following up previous releases on Live at Robert Johnson, Bordello a Parigi, Dischi Autunno and DGTL.
Aptly named after the vocal sample at its core, Tjade’s ‘Luv U’ combines infectious drumwork and an irresistible blend of bass. As all the elements lock in, he sweeps in a zippy 303 and a Trance-tinged sequence, lifting the energy for a hands-in-the-air, hug-your-mates moment.
‘Hipon Shaker’ then turns heads with razor-sharp breaks and a melody as elusive as its vocal. In true Tjade fashion, it blurs the line between nostalgic and next-gen sounds – soaring synths and punchy grooves bringing Hard House and Progressive influences into focus, rounding out a two-track package equally at home in sunlit festival pastures as the hazy dance floors of the warehouse rave.
With a career spanning fifteen years, Tjade has been a key force in the uptempo house scene, performing at festivals and institutions including Awakenings, Badaboum, Lowlands, Ministry of Sound, Fuse, and more. He launched Agrio Tracks in 2024 as a platform for emerging talent, hosting sold-out label nights and releasing standout EPs from Kyle Starkey, AUTOFLOWER & Di After, DART, NewTone, SOLIT, and Spacer Woman, now making his debut on the label with ‘Luv U / Hipon Shaker’.
