Watch Kygo perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert

Dance music made a statement at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Danish singer  notably made an appearance, representing Major Lazer and DJ Snake at the awards ceremony to perform their record-breaking single, “Lean On.” Before her moment in the spotlight, however, tropical house icon Kygo took to the stage in front of his home country to be the first ever electronic act to perform at the historic concert.

Complete with over-the-top visuals and spark-filled flumes to enhance his stage presence, Kygo brought out Pearson James and Maty Noyes to perform their respective singles, “Stole The Show” and “Stay,” as well as international vocalist Kurt Nilson to take Conrad’s typical role in accompanying the Scandinavian marvel for “Firestone.” To finish the night, Kygo stepped center stage with a-ha to play the keyboard lead to his sun-soaked remix of the Norwegian trio’s classic, “Take Me On,” with a grandiose choir backing.

You can watch Kygo and a-ha play “Take On Me” above as well as Kygo’s three other performances below.
