WINK Weaves His Own Vocal Work With Electronica and Early Future Bass-Inspired Single “let u gooo” on NIGHTMODE

Northern California’s WINK continues his sharp ascent through the electronic underground with “let u gooo,” his latest single on NIGHTMODE. Slated for release on June 20, the track finds the genre-melding producer leaning deeper into his own voice, both literally and sonically.

Drawing from the emotional pull of early future bass and the raw texture of 2010s electronica, “let u gooo” unfolds with intentional restraint. WINK’s melancholy vocal refrains echo through a haze of glistening tones and fragmented synths, capturing the mental unraveling that follows unresolved closure. A slow-burning introduction gives way to an unstable yet melodic pulse, carried by oscillating leads, haunting atmospherics, and subtle, cathartic crescendos.

The track lands as WINK’s third release on NIGHTMODE, following his collaborative ‘SEEING DOUBLE’ EP with nikko, as well as the four-track solo effort ‘THRILL,’ both of which expanded his dynamic signature across trap, bassline, UKG, and beyond. His sound has resonated far beyond the West Coast, drawing press attention from outlets like EDM.com, Trap City, and Loudness, and securing placement across editorial playlists from Apple Music and Spotify—including cover spots and top-tier slots on playlists like Trap Mojito and All New Dance.

WINK’s genre-bending output has earned co-signs from bass music titans like RL Grime, Skrillex, and Peekaboo, and he’s made his presence felt on stages alongside the likes of Illenium and DJ Snake. With high-profile tour stops locked in at Red Rocks, Brooklyn Mirage, and The Shrine LA, “let u gooo” is a compelling next step for an artist rapidly finding his voice; and, most importantly of all, making sure it cuts through.

“‘let u gooo’ is an emotional track that features my own singing. I wanted to tap into the sounds of future bass and electronica from the 2010s and bring them into a modern and energetic context. This track is definitely a personal favorite of mine.”-WINK

WINK’s new single “let u gooo” is available on all platforms via NIGHTMODE.
